These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, ring builder tool, text messaging program, in-store and online services, and any purchases made from Anderson Jewelers ("we," "us," "our," or "Anderson Jewelers"). By accessing our website, visiting our store, using our services, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services or make purchases from Anderson Jewelers.

Anderson Jewelers is a brick-and-mortar jewelry retailer offering fine jewelry, engagement rings, wedding bands, custom designs, repairs, appraisals, and related services. We serve customers both in-store and through our online platforms.

To use our services, make purchases, or enter into agreements with Anderson Jewelers, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Minors may only use our services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on their behalf.

  • Fine jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, watches, etc.)

  • Engagement rings and wedding bands

  • Custom jewelry design and consultation

  • Jewelry repair and restoration

  • Cleaning and maintenance services

  • Appraisals and certifications

  • Special orders and sourcing

  • Trade-ins and consignment (where offered)

All products and services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or modify services at any time without notice.

4. Product Information & Accuracy

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, and specifications. However, due to the nature of fine jewelry, gemstones, and precious metals:

  • Colors and appearance may vary slightly due to lighting, photography, monitor settings, and natural variations in materials.

  • Gemstone characteristics (carat, color, clarity, cut) are approximate unless accompanied by an official grading certificate.

  • Handcrafted and custom items may exhibit minor variations.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable sales tax, shipping, or handling fees, which will be calculated at checkout or point of sale.

Accepted Payment Methods:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)

  • Cash (in-store only)

  • Approved financing options (subject to credit approval)

  • Bank transfers and certified checks (for high-value purchases)

For high-value items, we may require additional verification or a deposit before completing the transaction. Custom orders typically require a non-refundable deposit (see Section 7).

6. Orders & Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Anderson Jewelers reserves the right to accept or decline any order at our sole discretion. Reasons for declining an order may include, but are not limited to:

  • Product unavailability

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment

  • Pricing or product information errors

  • Shipping restrictions

  • Failure to meet identity verification requirements

If we decline your order, we will notify you and refund any payment made.

7. Custom Orders & Special Designs

Custom and special-order items, including engagement rings created through our ring builder, are made specifically for you. The following terms apply:

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to begin work.

  • Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before production begins.

  • Estimated completion times are approximate and may vary.

  • Custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun.

  • Modifications requested after production begins may incur additional charges.

  • We will provide opportunities to review designs and approve specifications before final production.

8. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Standard Return Policy: Eligible items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase, provided they are:

  • In original, unworn condition

  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

  • Returned with all original packaging, certificates, and documentation

Non-Returnable Items: The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom-designed or personalized jewelry

  • Engraved items

  • Resized rings

  • Special orders

  • Repaired items

  • Items damaged by the customer

  • Earrings (for hygienic reasons)

Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

9. Warranties & Guarantees

Anderson Jewelers stands behind the craftsmanship of our products. We offer the following coverage:

Manufacturer Warranty: Many of our products carry manufacturer warranties. Please retain all documentation for warranty claims.

Anderson Jewelers Service Guarantee: We offer complimentary cleaning and inspection for jewelry purchased from Anderson Jewelers. Specific warranty terms vary by product and will be provided at the time of purchase.

Limitations: Warranties do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or improper care

  • Loss or theft

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Stones lost due to impact or neglect

10. Repairs & Services

When you bring an item to Anderson Jewelers for repair, appraisal, or service:

  • A written estimate will be provided before work begins.

  • Items left for service must be claimed within 60 days of completion notification.

  • Anderson Jewelers is not responsible for items left unclaimed beyond 90 days.

  • Reasonable care will be taken with all items, but we cannot guarantee against unforeseen damage during repair of older or fragile pieces.

  • Insurance for high-value repairs is recommended and may be available upon request.

11. Appraisals

Appraisals provided by Anderson Jewelers reflect estimated retail replacement value at the time of issuance. Appraisals:

  • Are based on current market conditions

  • Should be updated periodically (we recommend every 2–3 years)

  • Are provided for insurance purposes and are not offers to purchase

  • Do not constitute a guarantee of resale value

12. Shipping & Delivery

For online or shipped orders:

  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout.

  • Signature confirmation is required for all jewelry shipments.

  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other factors outside our control.

  • International shipping may be available; customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees.

13. In-Store Conduct

When visiting our physical location, customers agree to:

  • Treat staff and other customers with respect

  • Follow all posted store policies

  • Refrain from photography or recording without permission

  • Comply with any security procedures

Anderson Jewelers reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason.

Program Description

When you opt in to receive text messages from Anderson Jewelers, you may receive SMS and MMS messages related to your ring design, saved configurations, appointment scheduling, order updates, and related communications from Anderson Jewelers. These messages are sent to help you stay connected with Anderson Jewelers regarding your jewelry inquiry.

Consent & Opt-In

By checking the SMS consent checkbox on the Anderson Jewelers ring builder and providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Anderson Jewelers at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the ring builder tool. You may use the ring builder without opting in to text messages.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with Anderson Jewelers. Typical messages include appointment confirmations, follow-ups on saved ring designs, and responses to your inquiries. You will not receive more than 3 messages per month unless you initiate additional conversations.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan. Anderson Jewelers is not responsible for any fees charged by your carrier.

Opt-Out

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from Anderson Jewelers. After sending STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. If you experience any issues opting out, contact us using the information below.

Supported Carriers

Messages are supported on all major US wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Conditions

Anderson Jewelers reserves the right to modify or discontinue the text messaging program at any time. All content on the Anderson Jewelers website and marketing materials, including but not limited to text, images, logos, designs, ring builder tools, and software, is the property of Anderson Jewelers or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Custom designs created through our ring builder or in consultation with our designers remain the intellectual property of Anderson Jewelers unless otherwise agreed in writing.

17. User-Generated Content

If you submit reviews, photos, testimonials, or other content to Anderson Jewelers (including via social media), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display such content for marketing and promotional purposes. You represent that you own or have the right to share such content.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anderson Jewelers, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, products, or website, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim related to a product or service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anderson Jewelers, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of our services.

20. Force Majeure

Anderson Jewelers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, pandemics, government actions, supply chain disruptions, labor disputes, or utility failures.

21. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

We encourage customers to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. Many issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

23. Changes to These Terms

Anderson Jewelers reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Effective Date." Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms provided at the time of purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anderson Jewelers regarding your use of our services and supersede any prior agreements.
